Denver’s Environmental Dilemma
With all this talk about green roofs in the news lately, let’s take a look at the numbers to really get to the root of Denver’s environmental state of affairs.
As we stated in our feature article, the Denver Green Roof Initiative mandates that all Denver buildings that go up after January 1, 2018 that are 25,000 square feet or larger will be required to have green roofs. We’ve compiled the following information in order to illustrate the current heat island and pollution situation troubling the Denver area.
