We all know this winter has been drawn out to a near record late date with a late May snowstorm that surprised Colorado. Our teams have been great and kept everyone's properties clear and safe.
Now it's time to think about rejuvenating your property's asphalt and concrete from the toll of this winter's freezing and thawing. From cracks and potholes to broken stairs and curbs, Martinson can help get your property looking great again.

Have you ever wondered how we get so much done at Martinson? Employees like Lindsey are the backbone of everything we do and we are incredibly proud to have Lindsey on our team working hard for you.

Description of responsibilities: I help out with anything and everything in the landscape department including creating proposals, billing, customer service, responding to service calls and helping keep the landscape crew and our boss Doug organized. I also help with all the snow work orders and billing during snow season.

I’m 35 and a Colorado native. I grew up in Boulder but live in the Thornton area now.  I have two kiddos who are my favorite people on the planet. I’m pretty obsessed with my cat. I’m a full-time college student as well as working at Martinson, so I’m usually running from one place to another.

Working at Martinson Since:

December 2017

Hours Worked Per Week: 40

Why Martinson? I was really thankful to find Martinson. They genuinely appreciate their employees and show us in various ways, all the time. It’s been really fun to get to know everyone and see the incredible work ethic put forth by everybody in this company. They know how to work hard and then play hard. You’ll never meet a group of people more motivated than the Martinson family and that attitude flows down to everybody in the company. And they introduced me to fishing, which I had no idea I loved until recently! ☺

Daily Work Soundtrack:

6:30 A.M. -  “If you could only see” (Tonic)

7:30 A.M. -  “Warning”  (Incubus)

8:00 A.M. -  “Say It” (Blue October)

12:00 P.M. - “Creep” (Radiohead)

4:00 P.M. -  “April 29, 1992” (Sublime)

5:00 P.M. -  “Realize It” (Dirty Heads)

Fun Fact:

I’ve traveled quite a bit; I’ve been to New Zealand, Italy, Greece, all over Canada, and even lived in England for a while. Traveling is one of my absolute favorite things to do.

This is a hard question. I don’t think I’ve been here long enough to have any specialties!  I think one thing I am really good at is creating connections with our employees, customers, vendors and subcontractors. I want to provide them the best level of communication and service possible and I strive to form relationships that they can trust and depend on.

Outside the Office Hobbies/Interests:

Hanging with my kids and family, being outdoors, reading, fishing, painting, going to concerts. Although I’m too busy to do much of those things lately!

SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE... and while you may not realize it, our summers are busy too.  We're already getting ready for next year's winter.  Our team is positioning equipment, repairing concrete and asphalt, assessing staffing and equipment plans and reviewing the latest ice abatement techniques so that we'll be prepared when the snow hits.

If you're still in need of a better snow removal option, be sure to set up a visit with Martinson so we can help you address any needs your property may have.
